A new single, "We Don't Want to Look" was released on 8 May. This song is largely about the relationship between humans and the environment.

John's single "The Answer That You Seek" came out 27 March. Itis a song about the relative futility of introspection beyond a certain point and the possibility of going in circles by "overthinking" things. It is also, arguably, about the possibility that philosophy can sometimes detract from life, rather than enhancing it.

John's recent single "Your Inner Beauty" was released 21 Feb.

"Your Inner Beauty" is a haunting number inspired by two women - one real, and one imaginary. The real woman was a drug-addicted young single mother, who attempted suicide. The imaginary woman was a character in a TV show, whose face was burned by acid, and who contemplated suicide.

Reflecting on the struggles involved for both led to the birth of this song.
